Tell Mayor Miller: Thank you for keeping Brightmark out of Bibb

Plastics-to-fuel plants are dangerous. They emit toxic substances like hydrogen cyanide, benzene, formaldehyde, dioxins and many others that pollute our air, our water and our bodies.

And, though the plastics and fossil fuel industries call this "chemical recycling," it doesn't live up to its name. Of the 37 facilities proposed in the U.S. over the last two decades, none have been proven to successfully make new plastic products on a commercial scale.

That's why we are thanking Mayor Miller for saying 'no' to plastics-to-fuel in Macon.
